Case Study 1

The Client: Sajith & Mini, a Dubai-based couple with two children.

The Connect: Mini got in touch with us after we were referred by their relatives in Kanjirapally. After getting a fair idea of her requirement, we took her to see the latest project we had completed and she was very impressed with the work we had done.

The Requirement: To furnish and do the interior work of their penthouse apartment in a complex constructed by Favorite Builders at Plamood, Trivandrum. They were very particular about a minimalistic design, and that the wood work should be without grooves and easy to maintain.

The Process: We began with planning the furniture and wardrobe design for all the rooms with the ‘minimalist’ concept in mind. The proposed designs were sent to the clients by e-mail for approval. They came back with feedback on the designs, which were then implemented. And when they were convinced that all their ideas and suggestions were incorporated into the design and layout plan, we were given the go-ahead to begin the carpentry work.

The furniture was all done in Kerala teak wood, while the wardrobes were given a smart combination of mahogany and laminated plywood. The children’s likes and dislikes were also taken into consideration before their rooms were designed.

Despite the delays caused by the builder and restriction on working hours, we met our deadlines to the best of our ability, ensuring that their house-warming could be conducted as planned. The polishing of the woodwork was completed on after the house-warming.
